hi i am a new member to this group
i request all of u please solve my problem

in an interview i faced a question like this

q:

there is a query "enough for the day"
and a program accepts this
and requests two variables qty, rate
and displays the amount
and checks for a condition 'y' or 'n'
if 'n' loop continues and accepts qty, rate until condition='y'
this is used in departmental stores
there will be 1000 transsactions a day
questions are:
1) what r the minimum no. of variables required for the above program
2) what is the PICTURE clause of the variable amount at the end of the
day
the options are zz,z99.99 , 99()v99 , 99)(v99
3) if the above program execute s in MADRAS what is the PICTURE clause
of the variable
i am telling you MADRAS is a city in INDIA

WHAT KNOWLEDGE is required to solve the above program

is it a xml program or related to database or microsoft asp

I am looking forward for the answer please
